The ModStat thermostat is a microprocessor based, auto changeover, communicating zone thermostat. The ModStat controls modulating medium pressure and heavy duty dampers. The ModStat communicating zone thermostat is used with the ModCom, Zonex Commander(Plus) DDC systems and the System 2000 GEN IIzoning system. The ModStat thermostat communicates to the command centers or zone controller to initiate Heat or Cool calls in the system. Zone status and system operation are displayed on the large easy-to-read backlit LCD display. The ModStat thermostat is easy to configure and make manual adjustments with the function buttons located on the front cover. The space ambient temperature is continuously displayed with a range of 55° to 95° F. Programmed setpoints can be manually adjusted or electronically locked through the program to provide limited manual setpoint adjustment. Two-hour override is provided for after hours temporary operation, with a touch of a button. The thermostat can be easily field calibrated, if required.
